How do I remove pins from ignition switch connector?

I'm sorting out some wiring issues and cleaning things up. I disconnected the ignition switch connector that runs to the steering column and saw it's seen some overheating:

I want to clean both ends of the connectors to ensure a good connection there but couldn't figure out how to get the pins out of the plastic housing. Is there a trick for these? Didn't get any information in a search, so guidance would be appreciated!

I've been pulling out all the previous-owner afflicted wiring and bringing it closer to stock so I can get it running again, then do the amp meter bypass.
