Stop in for a cup of coffee

I asked him if he would be willing to tackle replacing the a/c evaporator, and converting to r134, he said he wanted to do some research. I would consider changing to a modern style compressor too.
Was considering converting the Duster, but now leaning toward just charging it with 12. When I did the engine, I kept everything hooked up, but I know at one point the connection at the firewall turned a little. Apparently enough to let some refrigerant out. I tightened that up pretty quick, but it does not cool now and it did when I got it. I was doing some cleanup under the hood today and checked all the fittings. Only a couple tightened even slightly. I then took a cap off and pushed a valve and it still gives a little hiss. So, the system is still under pressure and should not have drawn in any moisture etc. I see the cans for sale on ebag. Not cheap, but if I can just put a can in, it's a whole lot cheaper than converting.
