True. I also heard that LS to s-10 swap headers fit well. I got a 585hp LS3 that's built or I'd have to build my mopars. So I'll use what I got. With the power,mpg, and handling ( it's aluminum) it otta be worth the price of admission. We'll see. 67 cuda LS. I can here the purists already...

It makes dollar and sense to go this route. I most absolutely agree about the;

Ease of computer tuning. It seems that Ma MoPar makes it difficult on purpose.

Expense wise, the LS is a good bit more affordable in aftermarket parts. While you may loose ground on a few weird items, in the end, I think you'll be happier since your doing the car your way.
