wont stay running

I have a 73 scamp with a 360..i replaced everything on this car. the problem is I start it up it will run for about a second or two, then it will cut out. I had my wife crank the car to see if I'm getting fuel ( I am ) I'm thinking it might be something else...any ideas ?

It could be any number of things. You have to go through and eliminate each possibility one by one. There are no real short cuts.

You mention that it runs for a second or two. Does it actually run or does it cut out the second the key is let go and moves from start to run?
