Extreme Automatics (Amelia, OH). Lonnie built me what I wanted when nobody else would - a manual shift, reverse pattern with a lockup converter. I had him build it using the Reid bellhousing so no adapter is needed between the engine and trans.
I'd talked to Art Carr several years ago and at that time he said he'd build one the way I wanted. But when I had the money saved up and ready to buy, Art claimed nobody could make them live in that configuration. Turns out Lonnie was building the parts for Art when Art was building them like that. Lonnie had no problem both guaranteeing the build and providing a warranty, and also won't start the warranty clock ticking until my Dart hits the street.
The 200-4R has a deeper 1st gear than a 727, a better gear ratio spread and a 0.67 OD. I'm planning on running a 4.30 gear and a 28" tire which will let me cruise on the freeway at 70mph at 2421rpm per the calculator
Check out some of the other threads about Lonnie's work.
