So this is one of the mopars the old guy I got the blocks and tester from had. 1970 superbee, 383 with a 440 crank , 11:5 compression he said he's owned it for 41 years.

A 383 with a 440 crank is a 426 wedge....

Both the 383 and 426 wedge are 4.25" bore, the only difference is the stroke... 383 is 3.375" (3 3/8") stroke, and 426 is 3.75" (3 3/4") stroke...
