sondes oil

There is a port on both my 65 and 74 blocks to the rear of the oil pump before the bellhousing that I'm told is a water port. There was a recent discussion over at .org about using it to monitor water temps when using a FiTech unit.

Other than the oil pumps for RHD's with a slant (or LA motor) which used a remote filter, all the other slant oil pumps had the sensor on the oil pump. I'd be interested in seeing a Picture of yours.
