Gripe: "Restoration." Yea right.
To restore something is to bring it back to a former condition. To retore as new would be to bring it back to the way it left the factory. Most real restorations are over restored as we all know the quality was hit or miss on these old cars even when they were new.
The only correct restoration would be a 100 point concours car. I agree, the term is overused and improperly used.
As for my cars....im just fixing her up and making improvements along the way.
