Good ole Alumaseal ... That stuff got me home late one night when the seam on my radiator split ... The tube of silicone seal on the outside slowed it down enough for the Alumaseal to to it's job from the inside ... :rolleyes: The things we think of when we're far from home in the middle of the night

My friend's teenage son had a friend with a Monte Carlo that had a water pump leak.. a chunk of gasket about 1/4" looked to be missing and it was leaking steady...

He wanted to get it home and then put a new gasket on it. I put some of that in his radiator and he let it run for 40 minutes and most of it had stopped by then... He drove it later and it was not leaking any more... He postponed changing the gasket because it held for two more weeks until he sold it...

Even we couldn't believe that it worked on that one...
