Stop in for a cup of coffee

Keep in mind when that sudden acceleration, turn the ignition key off...

The first Mopar Nationals that we went to, we met some guys with a 440 6 pack coronet and they invited us to cruise in their car with them...

We went cruising in Ann Arbor and gathered with some Hemi cars and a Charger R/T 440 4 bbl.... After a short while we decided to leave... As everyone was turning out of the parking lot, they hit it... A guy had a real nice 68 SS Dart green with two tone green stars in the paint job, when he came up to the stop light, it turned yellow and he nailed it and broke the tires loose through the intersection... When it was our turn, we turned out and the driver nailed it, the throttle stuck, but he kept his peace of mind and camly hit the key off... Turned out that the throttle return spring broke... Lucky the driver knew to hit the key off, then put it in neutral and get it stopped...

Glad you survived it... A little beat up, but you survived....
I do know this, the whole thing has proved to me to install a kill switch like IrL and NASCAR run on their steering wheels.

Had thenthing been a manual, the clutch would have been able to be used but it's an automatic
