Change your auto console to 4 spd with pics

If you have a good auto console it is very easy to convert to 4-speed but, only if you are using a hurst shifter. Using the inland shifter is where problems raise their ugly head. All you need is the 4-speed top plates with a hurst shifter and they will bolt right up. I have done the conversion myself and it looks factory correct. Be careful not to lose or damage the speed nuts that hold the top plates in place! They are a ***** to find new or used!!
