Anybody going to MOPAR NATIONAL 2017

Tried send you a PM with a map and detailed instructions but maybe you have PM's from members disabled?. Do this: Order a Judged Show Car entry with a $25 Tow Sticker added (that is the only kind of entry besides a RACE entry where you can add the Tow Sticker). This will let your rig go just about anywhere including to the HDK tent where we have dedicated truck and trailer parking right out back.

Enter the track off of Rt. 40 at GATE A and stay far left to get on the service road that goes to the tent. You want to be TO THE LEFT of the staging lanes.

According to their site, those Judged entries had to be in by 6/30, and no entries at the gate !
!

I'm going with the 70 Dart for sure and maybe the Dakota RT 408. Looking for parts for my 73 Duster project also.

Rear bumper brackets.
Bumpers.
Steering column.
Door panels.
8 3/4 rear end.
Chrome round mirrors.
Pass. Door handle.

You want a ps or manual steering column? Auto on the column or manual trans on the floor?
Remote ralley mirrors?
Inside or outside door handle?

I maybe bringing a bbp 8 3/4 abody rear axle housing with axles.

OK, room is reserved, trailer waiting to be loaded in the morning, so see you guys some time Thursday afternoon !

sounds like OMM got you hooked up.....he is good at that.

have a safe trip.

Minivan is loaded up and ready to go. Just have to throw the cooler in the back.
The plan is to be there about 1:00 to get set up.

Front axle bearing just went out on my 99 Ford F350 so I'm going to be a little late getting to the Nationals trying to find a rental car now or truck at a reasonable price. Of course it's a four-wheel drive so it's three or four hour job to change his son gun out under ideal conditions of course. I'll be there as soon as I can.

Still here, going to look for you guys today. Hope the rain is over. Did buy a couple of 742 pumpkins with the power loc units for 750. I'm happy even if I do have to replace the fro t hub on the truck when i get home.

Meet RPM440-6 today and Dartcuda1.
Sold a couple of parts today. Loaded everything up to head back early in the morning.

Just got home from the Nats.
This year was without a doubt the best Nats I've been to the past 10 years.
The show promoters and the track made a lot of changes that really helped.
The weather was good, no one was acting the fool (that I saw) more cars there than I think I've ever saw.
The swap space was condensed, but, there wasn't a bunch of open area's that vendors may have bought but didn't making the swap area look bare.
There was a bunch of improvements at the track itself, so that was nice.
If you quit coming because of past trips, you may want to reconsider next year. Especially if they keep doing what they did this year. Would really like to see more organization of the cars, but since I stay in the swap area that isn't as important to me as it is to others.
In all, if you missed out, then you really missed out.

When ever I go to these car shows I meet the nicest people. It was very good meeting you
Jadaharabi.I hope we will see each other next year and spend more time. Mark

I was only able to spend a few hours in the swap area. I did see Cosgig.
It would have been great to meet a few more from FABO.

We had a blast at the Nats this year! My first time back since 2005. We met some great people out there and picked up a few parts. I thought the show and swap meet were great plus had fun watching the cars on the strip. I was surprised by the changes in cruise nights though from my last trip. Brice Rd looking like a ghost town other than the parking lot behind Burger King. That said the Heath cruise was still great! We are planning on making this an annual trip definitely going back again next year. Hopefully things are turning around for the Nats and it will be growing again!
