Other than including pork parts and usually being fried, 'not really' is more accurate. Supposedly Spam starts out including 'better' meat, but ends up being one of the most unhealthy things you can eat. But its so tasty... LOL
As far as nutrition, you could eat a pound of (most brands)scrapple and not exceed RDA on sodium and sat fat. Depending on variety,a 12oz can of SPAM would be somewhere around double. Both consider 2oz a 'portion', which probably never happens. More likely at least double that for most.
