Info On Obsolete Crane HI-6 Ignitions
I couldn't resist and ended up buying it. Sucks it'll be months before everything is done to know how it'll perform, but for $200 shipped **** it! A roll of the dice. Pretty complete kit: coil w/heavy aluminum finned mount bracket and hardware. The control unit with rubber mounts, bottom plate has a rivet so it swivels open, extensive hardware kit with quality terminals, etc, and the harness with a shielded distributor cable w/sealed connection plugs. The hardware kit seems high quality vs the chintzy **** you typically get. Even comes with a little brass tool to adjust the rpm limiter dials. Unit is made in USA, E-core coil (very similar looking to MSD) made in China.
