Moparfest 2017

What a great extended weekend! As planned, I flew out to Ottawa last Wednesday and hit the road Friday morning driving my friend's '64 Valiant convertible. We were in a mini-convoy which included another Valiant convertible (1965) as well as a '78 Little Red and a new Challenger. We all stayed at the Comfort Inn in Cambridge which was pretty convenient for getting to/from New Hamburg.

Monday morning, three of us took the long circle route home up along the coast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay with an overnight in Parry Sound, then back to Ottawa in torrential rains on Tuesday. Eastern Ontario had tornado warnings all over the province on Tuesday, pretty scary! Nice to return home yesterday to the arid desert that is Victoria BC this summer. :D
