340 528. Purple cam question

At 101 MPH you should have been (or should say you were making enough HP) to run high 12's. That puts you ~ 290 HP
At 108 MPH you should have been 12 teens or so. At the same weight you had ~ 340 HP.

MPH is horsepower. ET is hook.
I ran that cam in my '72 Duster 340. EXCELLENT cam with awesome sound ! Wish I had kept that cam. My combo was : 915 castings , ported by me with 2.02/1.600 valves flowed [email protected] lift. harlin sharp 1.65 rockers, .030 over 9.5c.r. , 1 3/4 hooker super comp's. Holley strip dominator, 750 holley mech. sec. 430 gears, hoosier 28X9, 727 3500 10" convertor .3400lbs W/me .all steel street car. Best was 11.61 @114.47 . would run 11.70'S all day. 7.508 @92 in 1/8th. I pulled those heads off and went with bowl ported 915's, 2.020/1.600 , those flowed 232 cfm @.500 lift.same cam, same compression, same intake, same headers, changed out carb to Holley 3310 ,750 Vac. sec. now it runs 12.25 @ 110.72 . 7.85 in 1/8th @89 . on street tires this time. mostly street driven now. Yes excellent camshaft. it will run the numbers for you.
