First thing i notice is your arms need to be flipped. The arms have a "groove" in them. Groove should be pointed out.
Yes different bushings but function the same.
Was the motor crank arm ever removed?
I'm not sure about the motor crank arm being removed. I would think the motor would come out with out disconnecting it, so I'd say no.... :)
Regarding the connecting links, I've studied them too. In the Repair Manual, the link to the RH pivot appears to have the convex surface of the link pointing to the windshield. Mine does appear to point the concave side to the windshield.
