When I was looking for a LD4B a while ago I searched through the LD4B threads here and contacted members who indicated they had one in old threads but wasn't clear if they sold it. All the ones who responded said they still had one (or several) but were not selling.

Good luck in your search! I found one about a month later on e-bay for $140 including shipping and it was in great shape (was installed new in 1980 on a marine 318 that only had 400hours on it).

That's a steal. Most go for $250-$300 or so. I have a extra one with a stripped thermostat hole. I would like to get it cleaned and fixed up before I put it up for sale.

Hi Alex,

I have one that I pulled off of my 318 (doing motor swap) that I'm looking to sell. It looks like it was welded in the back at some time, but worked fine on my 318. I also have the kick down linkage that was on it which worked fine. PM me your contact info and I can send some pictures and see what you think.

Also have an Edelbrock 1406 carb that was on the car, have the box, cd to go with it if you are interested.

Just sitting around so not looking for much out of it.

Tom

Alex,

I think I sent you a PM (conversation here) so that you can get in contact with me.
