Ordered My Disc Brake Conversion Kit

Hey Mike that kit from your build does look exactly like the Pirate Jack kit which is really MBM Brakes at least that's what was stamped on the boxes. Anyhow the Ram Man brochure was out of Fort Worth Texas and this Pirate Jack kit is out of New Jersey, not saying that they could not have moved. I really don,t have any problems with the locking nuts on the upper ball joints although I do like the cotter key you put in your's. I think the only reason they suggest using the locking nuts is because the original castle nut's did not have a washer between the spindle and the castle nut and the opening is a little bit bigger on the spindle "hence the crush sleeve", I don't see why it would be a problem if you really wanted to use the castle nut again and just install a washer before the nut then put your cotter key back in.
