Nice, but how the heck did they break something that is so far out of the way if they were troubleshooting. I mean theres no wiring behind the A pillar.
Btw that old hard plastic can be glued back together easily if you have app the pieces with plastiweld solvent adhesive available from hobby lobby. If you dont have that available, methyl ethyl keytone from lowes with an acid brush works just as well.
Of course you would still have to sand and repaint
