Like I said, I am far from an expert, but why not buy a locked dist. to start with ? MSD makes one . Wish I`d gone that way, the short chevy type dist FAST sells , took a he-l of a bunch of head grinding to get clearance.

2. They have to be an MSD or MSD clone to accept the phasable rotor. Fast does not have a phasable rotor. His question is in reference to the Fitech. If it was a FAST, or a Holley, yes they do have the dual sync distributors...again for $200 more than the basic pro-billet.
