What did I do to become a "Well Known Member"?

About 30 or so years ago i had a good friendwho was running around with a stripper.
He wanted to set me up with one of her friends.
Well a few weeks after i said no.
There it was on the news. Another friend of ours had a nice pizza business.
He hooked up and was setup by her and the boyfriend.
They found his body chopped up in the freezer of his business.
