AlterKtion versus Gerst front suspensions

Yeah, to be clear, I understand there is nothing wrong with torsion bars and the OEM steering. I'm switching to coilovers for weight savings, header clearance, and easy ride height adjustments. I have seen torsion bar cars at autocross events, and they did just fine, so I know they can be made to work, but for my car they are just in the way too much, and the same goes for the steering box.

Rode in a high end B Body several weeks ago. Really nice car that was well prepared. It had an Altercation setup. A little too much road noise and rough for my liking. Not that it's a bad setup.

With that said I had a complete Firmfeel suspension on my 71 Roadrunner. Had 1.05 t Bars and Bilstien shocks. Lower A arm reinforced with tubular upper arm. The car was really fun to drive.
