Co-operation and Patience; a book on
My wife made the trek, thanks darling. The other side is same as this; the quarter is gone there as well. And I see the rear valence is now rotten too. I have the front valence here at home in a shed, with the bumpers, and seats. The rear A56-finish panel is on my hotrod, along with the FormulaS badges.
I bought that car from the second owner in June of 81. It's coming 35 years that I've called her mine. I spun a rod bearing in about 87, and she's been on blocks ever since.
In 97 when I started thinking about spending money on a muscle car, I had this one and a 68 slanty car, which was in much better shape. And since it was a slanty-car I figured It would be no loss to the world if I crashed it, so she got the nod. I never did crash her, but she spent most of the first year spinning out pretty regularly, lol.
A few years ago the town brought in a bylaw that made everybody clean up all their "projects". That's when I sent the 69 to stay at my daughters farm, about a half hour away. I always wanted to get her spruced up, but life got in the way, lol. Family first and all that. Now, at age 64, the urge is fast waning.
