1966 Dodge Dart 270 Convertible
1966 Dodge Dart 270 Convertible
225 Slant 6, Auto, Power steering, Manual drum brakes. 48,*** miles (Factory radio delete car)
Runs and drives great. I've owned the car since Nov. 2015. Been really good to me but have lost interest in it.
Sept. 2013: Engine Rebuild, fuel pump, oil pump, timing set, bearings, gaskets, and paint.
July 2014: Body and Paint was completed. Convertible top was replaced.
Tires were replaced in Dec. 2014. Exhaust was done in Oct. 2015.
Once I got the car I replaced the pitman arm and both passenger side ball joints. Alignment was completed at this time. I have been through all four drum brakes; new shoes, drums, self adjusters, wheel cylinders, spring kits and master cylinder. I also installed a used good radiator and a new carb. Interior is in decent shape. Seats need upholstered but all the padding is still in good shape. Door panels and dash are in good shape as well. Floor carpet is new and a radio, speakers and amp has been installed. Sounds really good. It does not have subwoofers! The convertible top works great. The cover for when it is in down position has a small ( nickel size) hole in it. It could be repaired. Top does not leak! All trim pieces expect for the hood trim piece are on the car. The hood trim piece has always been missing. Body work on both rear quarters is starting to show through. No holes though. This is a really good car for cruising or if you want to modify, could be a good car for a v8. I'm not interested in any type of trade!! If not local it can be driven a long distance. We just had it in Tennessee which was a 1000 mile round trip. 22mpg. price is $7000
