Drivetrain from 1967 Valiant
Another update... As I get deeper into the car, I have found a lot of non-original parts, despite what the seller told me. The 4-speed overdrive transmission looks like it's a 1975 or later A833 with the 5.125" input bearing retainer, and the matching cast aluminum bellhousing. According to the build records, the car came from the Los Angeles plant with a \6 and a three on the tree transmission.
The rear axle I took out is a GM non-posi 10 bolt, in good shape, with drum brakes and the cars original leaf springs.
Bump... Now have OEM radiator, fan and fan clutch for sale as well.
