Slant 6 Rewire Engine to Ignition: Starts great, won't turn off!

Without seeing how it's actually hooked up, impossible to guess. What do you have for ignition? IE breaker points? HEI? etc?

What do you have for an alternator / regulator? "1 wire" Stock pre 70 Mopar?

I have the 2 wire Alternator and the thinner aftermarket regulator with FLD/IGN, everything else is factory: points, rotor, etc. The ignition switch doesn't seems to have clearcut stops for off/accessory.
