turn signal working intermittedly

My passenger side fender mount turn signal and front bumper turn signal are working intermittently. Also does not work when I use the 4-way flashers. The passenger side headlight, lo & hi beam work and they are in the same relay. I looked under the front end and all the connections are fine. Passenger side rear turn signal works and I can hear the "ticking" in the steering column when I move the turn signal lever. I drove her 40 miles home from the shop because I had a new mini starter installed when I noticed this issue on the way home. Most of the ride home it would not work. I left it in the 'right turn' position and it started working, then stopped and hasn't come back on. I figure a loose connection or ground somewhere. Any insight fellas? Any areas to check?
