This is Cawley. Some of you know I own a 69 383 4spd barracuda. When my dad was in the hospital & we all thought he would recover & be home soon I decided to sell my barracuda back to my uncle. I needed the money because I wanted to make sure that my dads 62 polara was done for him when he got out. So a deal was struck. I started ordering parts & getting excited. In the mean time dad got worse & he passed way. I ended up selling the barracuda to my cousin. My uncle (the original owner) son bought it. I want to get his polara done before May. May is when my family puts on a car show for in memory of my uncles who passed away from cancer.

Sorry for your loss , but the max wedge is worth it and the Barracuda stays in the family.

So sorry to hear this. I am glad that I got to meet your dad, he was a cool guy.

Now your dad can meet mine, I am sure they went to the same place.

Maybe, just maybe, they are swapping stories about their sons right now.......

Big hug Cawley.

Praying for peace and comfort for your family and for huge success with the memorial car show.

Sorry for your loss, he will be with you in spirit riding shotgun to the car show.

Crawley, sorry to read about your story. Your dad would've been proud to his 62 and all that you have accomplished. Job well done, a very nice way to honor him.

Bitter sweet it is !!
Loss especially a father is a very difficult thing for a man to deal with .
Im sorry you're going through that.
Sweet that you get to finish his ride !
Every time you cruise it you can smile and think of him and the memories made !!
God Bless
That is one sweet car by the way !!

Condolences on the loss of your father. He would be proud of what you are doing. Badass Polara.

It's tough,a loss of a family member.January 20th I lost my brother, mentor, friend and the reason for being in love with Mopars. He always wanted a Hemi car.It took us 10 years to build this one.He did get to drive it 122 miles before his death. He left it to me.Yes it is hard just to look at it, but I know your Dad and my brother would be pleased that it stays in the family and will be with us every time we fire them up.Lets hope they got a Mopar club up in the sky ! P.S. He was from southwestern PA .Spent his whole life there.

Sorry for your loss. His car will be in good hands.

Cawley, I'm heartbroke to hear of the loss of your dad. The '62 is beautiful and I'm sure he would have been proud to have seen it done the way you have.

Prayers for you and your family. Keeps your hands busy and your mind occupied on building things and it will help with the grief.

Although your dad is no longer here, he continues to live in your heart, and every time you do things that remind you of him, he will be there to share in your triumphs and tribulations, and help steer you as he always has! The Polara is something that will pay tribute to him, and keep him close to your heart! I'd say that's a good tradeoff for the Cuda!! My prayers are with your family, and may your Dad Rest In Peace!!!

Remember the guy that came up to get the '63 wagon parts car for Rani?

Thanks again on that valiant ...parts are finding a good home.

Prayers for you and your family. The polara will be sweet and remind you of him which is so nice.

Be strong and finish that car ....we are all behind you.
