I would imagine they will have banks of batteries that can be easily swapped in and out. That was one idea floated about a few years ago for the cars. It would probably be even easier to implement for the big trucks because they mostly run repetitive/fixed routes.

This is the battery in the Model S. I can't quickly find the truck one, but I imagine it would be similar.
Now, if the battery pack loaded from underneath the truck, you could possibly have a pit that it could drive over and be changed out. Would an extra battery be part of the truck price? Would it be part of a fleet package the trucking company would purchase? What about independent drivers? Although independent drivers may not be an issue because the trucks are geared towards being autonomous vehicles. That also means the "10 hour/800 mile day" would no longer apply.

Again, it isn't the technology I have issues with.
