Bob Glidden has passed

One of my fondest memories of Bob Glidden was at the 1979 winternats. I was a young 20 something at the time. I had a picture of the plymouth arrow that I brought to their pits. The Line to Bob was big, So I went to Etta first and asked for her autograph knowing she helped him with his engine building. I then talked to her about building the new plymouth engines. I was probably one of the few who asked for her autograph. Then I went to Bob for his. Apparently he had caught the whole thing out of the corner of his eye. He quietly thanked me for recognizing Etta, and he gave me a personal tour of his new Arrow. opening the door and letting me see inside and take pictures. I will never forget it to this day.
