So I need to get to the rubber around my fuel filler tube but its under the centre section of floor in the back...The manual shows me nothing...is this panel just screwed down under the carpet or something? Or do I need to remove the side panel to get this up for access??
 
side panels have to come off and the flat panel is screwed to the hump and the support in the trunk, (assuming a fastback). BUT,,, to get to the rubber seal on the filler neck, leave all that alone and drop the tank. There's threads on here how to get it back in.
 
I'm also assuming your talking about the fuel seal in the tank,, if you mean the rubber floor seal around the tube then the interior panels need to come out and the filler tube.

It's just screwed down remove the rear seat you will see the screws. There are more screws in the trunk by the hinge I believe.
