the lower ball joints can have a lot of play and still be fine.The full weight of the front end
will keep the ball tight in the socket.I think the factory service manual allows 70 thou clearance
or more.You may be putting new parts in that are inferior Snake.Check them first.
The uppers are different and need to be tight!
