8 3/4 axle offset a body brakes, DeJaVu?

The link and info in your thread is from the EXACT same place I linked in my post above. The image also came from Moparts..........

So which is correct.....

Not that stupid picture.

I've cross checked most of the information posted in the chart in the chart that I linked, and even added some info to the second chart. I've personally checked the A-body 8 3/4 measurements, both SBP and BBP, as well as the E-body, 3 or the B-body, C-body, and truck 8 3/4 dimensions listed. They're spot on.

The chart in post #2 appears to measure from the ends of the axles tubes and references those as the flanges, and NOT the axle flanges, so it's almost kinda useless, cuz you would have to add the dimensions for whatever brake you might want to run.
But even then it doesn't seem to add up right.

The chart in the link references "flanges" as the housing flanges. So the "flange to flange" measurement in the link, which is is sticky on this forum, is the width of the housing. It's very helpful in identifying axle housings, and you can take that measurement by yourself with a tape measure, unlike the other one. If you scroll down, you'll see that link does include the drum to drum measurements.

The "drum to drum" measurement in that chart is a wheel mount-to-wheel mount measurement. It's the width of the axle with the drums installed, which is exactly the measurement you need for measuring wheel backspacing. And again, I've checked most of the dimensions listed, everything I've checked has been accurate. Unlike the first picture, which is almost 100% wrong.
