1966 Dodge Dart
Well, its all but 10 PM here and Im finally getting to sit down today. I went to the shed at 9:00 AM and started preparing to paint the doors and fenders. I know Im not the fastest worker when it comes to body and paint work. Well, I had to sweep and clean everything before I could paint. Then because the doors get both red and white the taping took me way to long. Im not sure I did this in the right order but I decided to do the red paint part of the door first because it would be easier to tape the red off after it was on then it would have been the white, or so I think so! Well heres the first step off progress:
Now I had to untape the lower side and tape off the red so I can paint the jambs white.
now its time for the clear coat,
oops, almost forgot I had to do the under hood part of the fenders and the door hinges along with an ashtray and glove box door:
