For assembly lines the engineers would employ different types of terminals/connectors so stuff couldn't get hooked up wrong. That is why your pic leaves me clueless. The dual ballast resistor did have 4 male spade terminals but those connectors were cast in pairs with keys dictating their orientation. Alternator has 2 identical female field connectors but which of the 2 male terminals they when didn't matter. What little you are showing us is just weird. Good luck with it.
