Hypothetical Six Pack

I would think aluminum. They were lightening up the cars by then with aluminum parts. A feather duster or dart lite with a six pak/six barrel? Awesome! Maybe even better package with the E58.
You say it like it was a stock engine to the car. LMAO!!! E58 was a 360-4bbl. Correct?
All the factory small block sixpack intakes are aluminum & so are the reproductions.
He is talking about a RB engine.
I dig this idea.

My inner nerd, (the largest part of my inside, lol) loves the idea of doing a numbers matching style restoration on a car that was never built.

It's on my "to do" list. Lol
Sounds great! Like, a what if car.
I highly doubt that the 440 six pack intake would fit under a stock '75 Duster/Valiant hood.
And as for your question to me, i didn't run a midnight auto supply store!
Actually, my brother bought a '70 Challenger R/T in '78 that was a factory 440 six pack car, and boy was that intake heavy!
Hell yea! E bodies could get heavy!
So, if things in the past had an alternate timeline...

would a factory 1975 440 6-pack A body have an aluminum intake, or an iron one?
If they actually made one in those years you mean! It would have been aluminum.
Some might say Chrysler had their own intakes being made (iron) by then....

Some might say that if the muscle car era had not died by that point, that the competition would've driven them to aluminum....

Your thoughts?
The intakes were iron first and the. Aluminum. IIRC/LMAO!!!!
