So I’m getting ready to pull the motor and clean/paint the engine bay on my 66 Dart 270. Trying to decide if I want to paint it the original color or black. The paint code is CC1 if anyone knows where to get it. Does anyone know what the original engine color was? I also have a bunch of mopar orange maybe paint it all mopar orange?

The original engine color was red. The paint code CC1 is light blue metallic, any auto body paint supplier should be able to mix it for you.

I personally think the engine bay should be body color and the engine should be the original color for that year. Oh yeah, and the exhaust mainifold should be white
