1969 dodge dart custom

havent really worked on it in a while , because been going to carshows , but it has new mufflers and i have been working on installing the wind shield, all left to do to winshield is urathane it in and install moldings after i polish them out other upgrades include a new distributer, lots of carb adjustments, new fuel lines new wipers and minor adjustments , have drove it about 400 miles since

Nice work you are doing.

Just picked this up. Thought you might like to see a sibling in the rough.
The only trouble spot with the body is the driver fender. Not sure I can do a good job straightening it. Are they hard to find?

Rear bumper needs to be re-chromed or replaced. Lots of work to do.

it has been a while and the old dart has started to show some rust. it still presented well but it was time for a true restoration.

The side molding are being removed and swinger style bumble bee stripes are being added the car will be yeelow with black top and stripes

as you can see it is off with the chrome molding and fixup of the rust. Runnability was greatly improved with new distributor, points, plugs. The latch has been broken so this is the first time the passenger door has been opened in a year. Special thanks to my brothers and dad who own shafer's industrial service in Elm city nc. They are doing this restoration at no cost to me.
