Lucky man I only have to give one sympathy card and I like it that way!
I just cannot believe what assholes your unit is on that stuff. Hel some of the units I was in has super drills June and Sep (4 day drills) got a ton of stuff done on them that was almost impossible over a regular drill and also gave the family the summer off to be together. Must be a Air Force taking care of people thing......
I was able to give guys make up drills without going up higher and was pretty leinant wit them. you cannot believe some of the excuses I have heard, Stupid was no anything else that was once a year or lifetime thing was usually granted with a few months notice and it was not a super drill.
