My original plan was to use a Garmin too. After seeing it, I wish I had. I just went with cheap Equus gauges and a Speedway motors electronic Speedo. I was torn between putting the tach in the dash or not. I chose not so maybe I'll regret that. I' just refinishing it now. It will stay black but may have a silver trim ring. Not sure yet.

This photo is before I broke it trying to enlarge the indicating light holes. I' almost back to there now.
I also decided to move the wiper switch. I feel it's better here.
