I have a 1964 Dart with a 904 auto trans. Speedo cable was missing when I got it. I am under the impression I need a special cable with a sealed end that gets bolted into the trans. Could I use this and then a regular cable instead. The OE reproduction speedo cable for my car is 130 to 150 bucks. Seems like this would really solve a problem. Thanks Doug.
