what would your number be to sell?

My 69 coronet project caught the eye if a guy buying a hood from me. He asked how much. I said make me a stupid high offer. He did. I packed all the boxes of parts to it inside of it and delivered it 3 weeks later for the rest of the cash. It was a 17 year project that only had the metal work done. It was just a 318 car, nothing special about out it. He came back and bought one of my spare virgin 383 engines to rebuild and install. Gave me stooopid money for that too.... don't regret letting it go. I brought the 68 Ragtop project home a month later for a fraction of what he paid me for the 'net.

That being said, the stooopid $ price to take my I've owned it since it was new, but needs a total paint and partial mechanical rebuild Shelby Dakota would be around $10k. That's at least 2x what it's worth in its current state.

My 69 Fury ragtop that's been on the road for 14 seasons now, would take about $30k. Again, a fair amount more than I feel it's worth.

The 68 B'cuda ragtop in 1000 pieces and needing e erything done - $18k might get my attention.

The 05 Ram 2500 diesel - $40k only because I'd have to go buy another one to pull the camper. Again 2x what it's worth.

My mother-in-law's 2000 cavalier - pshh - I'd almost give it away if she wouldn't notice.........LOL

So yeah. Stooooopid money for people with more of it than brains, because that way it will cost me nothing more to replace it with something else in better shape, or newer, or optioned better.
