Built 273, what sure grip ratio with a A833 3.09 first gear

You might just have to experiment with real life conditions. I ran the 3.09 low gear in my 273 bracket racer, but it was quicker with the 2.65 low gear. We are talking 4.56 rear end ratio, though. I would suggest trying the 3.23 as a starting point, if you contemplate freeway cruising.

Yeah , At the track and slicks on ,you would have to shift as soon as your right foot hit the floor. LOL
I bet with 4.10's and a low first gear , I could start out in 2nd gear just shifting normal ,stop and go lights . I would eliminate one shift . hummmmmmm lol
