All those weapons are already heavily regulated. What the media doesn't tell you is that even with a "ban" no weapon can be fully banned. All they can do is move it to being classified as an NFA item under the 1934 National Firearms Act. Which requires special paperwork, tax stamps and waiting periods. Supreme court has already ruled that many times. The clinton era Ban on ARs did exactly that.
And what you are forgetting is that the Second Amendment can be repealed and replaced at any time by an act of congress. So can the 1935 NFA.

The odds are slim, but it can be done.
