Fixing mounting holes in plastic interior trim

So, I got some used upper door moldings for my 74 Duster project. The moldings are good, but the mounting holes are GONE! Since the mounting holes / screws are covered by the door panel, an easy fix is to epoxy #10 thin washers over the egged out holes. First, take your dremmil tool and sand both sides of the holes so they are flat. Next tape over the bottoms of the holes ( side that goes against the door frame ). This will keep the epoxy from running through the holes and give some support to the end holes which are almost completely gone on my panels. Epoxy the washers over the holes ( on the screw side) in the approximate position of the original holes. They don't have to be perfectly located as the #10 washers have much larger holes then the screws you will use. Your done! The washers are pretty thin, so there will still be plenty of room for the door panel to slide in the groove past the screw heads.
