Yeah I have a similar story. In 1981 I was hot to buy my first new car. I was looking at buying a 1982 Plymouth TC3 Miser with a 1.7 liter Volkswagen engine in it and a 4 speed manual. I think the sticker price was $7600.00. I was selling my '74 Dart Sport to my sister and brother-in-law for $500.00 for the down payment. My roommate at the time was like "Look, you don't I want a car like that" He suggested that we go look at another car he knew with for sale. Reluctantly I went and looked at the car. We pulled into the driveway and there it was, a 1970 AAR 'Cuda 340 6 Pack, 4 speed in B5 blue. He wanted $1500.00 AND I TURNED IT DOWN!!!!!!! Yeah I bought the TC3 Horizon and I am kicking my self for it to this day.
