Home made (not home distilled) Take a 150 proof bottle of Everclear and add a bottle of distilled water. Throw in a 1/4 cup of toasted oak chips per pint and let it get happy for a couple weeks. You have a fairly smooth whisky that you can drink on ice. 75 proof. Not bad. A $13 bottle and a few chips and you have a $7 bottle of nice stuff.
