To tight bet the reluctor is hitting the pickup. Both will be toast the pickup might work but now moisture can get in there by the "blade" on it.I set them at .012. Good news is I have parts for it!

At very least I will open up the gap before I run it again. Or could just pull it and let you do your thing with it. :thumbsup:

Might have the right one for it need all the specs carb 1 or two bbl and year. Good news You can finish mudding the ceiling for a trade!
