Thanks Mr. Gorsky. You noticed them among the 'swinger splashes', eh?
And yeah, unorthodox placement for the 340 emblem and yes that was original. '70/'71's had them on the scoops and the '71 & '72 Demons had the 340 incorporated into the Demon decal/emblem behind the fender opening - so I guess this was the place they thought would work best for these few cars. Just yet another anomaly with these rare Canadians :)-
